Cipriani has been dropped from the team to face Scotland in Murrayfield on Saturday.
Having done the vast majority of England fans a favour by relegating to the bench the liability that is Balshaw, Cipriani’s shot himself in the foot with some injudicious late night behaviour.
Alas, this is not the first display of poor judgement in his extra-curricular activities, but then again the lad is only 20 and enjoying (clearly) a stellar rise to fame.
If Cipriani could help Johnny lighten up a bit, and Johnny respond by passing on some of his monk-like habits, we could be on to something.
But Balshaw… again … bloody hell.
